Successful 6th District Baramulla Taekwondo Championships Conclude with Over 130 Athletes Participating
The recently concluded two-day 6th District Baramulla Taekwondo Championships held at the JKSC Indoor Sports Complex, Khwajabagh, witnessed the enthusiastic participation of more than 130 athletes from various age categories across the district. The event was organized by the Taekwondo Association of District Baramulla in collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council and the Jammu and Kashmir Taekwondo Association.
The championship kicked off with a grand opening ceremony attended by DIG North Kashmir Shri Maqsood ul Zaman (IPS) as the Chief Guest and Ms. Neha Jain (IPS) as the Guest of Honour. The dignitaries lauded the efforts of the organizers in providing a platform for healthy competition and nurturing young talent in the field of sports.
Maqsood ul Zaman commended the initiative for promoting a competitive environment that motivates youth towards disciplined sporting pursuits. He emphasized the significance of such championships in identifying and honing talent while contributing to the overall social development of the region.
