Srinagar-Jammu National Highway Closed Due to Heavy Snowfall

On January 24, authorities announced the suspension of vehicular movement on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway on January 25. This decision was made in light of heavy snow accumulation, particularly between Nachlana and the Navyug Tunnel. Snow clearance operations are currently in progress to ensure safe travel for commuters.

Until further notice, no vehicular traffic will be allowed from Nagrota, Jammu, towards Doda, Ramban, Banihal, and Srinagar, and vice versa. The closure of the Jammu-Doda road is also in effect due to adverse weather conditions.
