Appointment of Prof. Wahid Makhdoomi as Chairman of J&K Board of School Education
Prof. Wahid Makhdoomi, the Registrar of the Islamic University of Science and Technology, is on the verge of being appointed as the Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education. This significant development comes as a result of the recent recommendation made by the J&K cabinet during its last meeting. Highly placed sources within the Jammu & Kashmir government have confirmed this news to the Kashmir News Observer (KNO).
The proposal for Prof. Makhdoomi’s appointment as the Chairman of BOSE has been approved by the Lok Bhavan, paving the way for a formal order to be issued in the coming days. The General Administration Department or School Education Department is expected to release an official order regarding this appointment shortly.
It is important to note that a search committee established by the J&K government had previously identified a panel of three potential candidates for the position of Chairman of BOSE. After careful consideration, Prof. Wahid Makhdoomi emerged as the preferred choice for this crucial role.
