Srinagar Class 11th Exam Results: Over 83% Students Qualify
The JK Board of School Education (JKBOSE) is set to declare the results of the class 11th examination today at 11:30AM. A commendable 83.27 percent of students have successfully cleared the exam, marking a significant achievement for the education sector in the region.
Out of the 81,573 students who appeared for the exam from Kashmir and the winter zones of Jammu, a total of 67,932 students have passed. This success rate is a testament to the hard work and dedication of both the students and the educational institutions.
Chairman of JKBOSE, Ghulam Hassan Sheikh, confirmed the timing of the result announcement, providing assurance to the students and their families eagerly awaiting the outcomes.
The examination process was conducted smoothly across 760 exam centers, with 574 in Kashmir and 186 in Jammu. This widespread infrastructure ensured that students had access to a conducive environment for their exams.
Notably, last year, JKBOSE had implemented a 15 percent syllabus relaxation for class 10th, 11th, and 12th students in their annual regular examinations. This decision was made in response to various disruptions that impacted the academic session in 2025.
The disruptions were attributed to challenging circumstances such as war-like situations, prolonged heat waves, and flood-like conditions, all of which necessitated temporary closures of schools by the government. Despite these challenges, students have shown resilience and determination in their academic pursuits.
