Jammu Celebrates 77th Republic Day with Enthusiasm

In a grand ceremony at MA Stadium, Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha hoisted the National Flag to mark the 77th Republic Day celebrations in Jammu and Kashmir.

The event commenced with the Lieutenant Governor inspecting the Republic Day Parade contingents and receiving the ceremonial salute.

The parade featured well-coordinated displays by various security forces including the Army, BSF, CRPF, SSB, J&K Police, and more, showcasing their discipline and precision.

Furthermore, the celebration highlighted the region’s progress and cultural richness through vibrant tableaux, covering themes like Operation Sindoor, Mission Yuva, and Road Safety.

The crowd was captivated by the thrilling Motorcycle Acrobatic display by the JKP’s Dare-Devils and a diverse cultural pageantry representing the UT’s heritage.

Prior to the event, the Lieutenant Governor paid homage to the brave martyrs of the Police, Army, and CAPFs at the Police Martyrs Memorial and Balidan Stambh.
