Jammu Lieutenant Governor Flags Off Kashmiri Youth Exchange Program
On Friday, Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha officially launched the inaugural group of 120 young individuals from the Kashmir Division as part of the Kashmiri Youth Exchange Program “Watan Ko Jaano”. This initiative, supported by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, and coordinated by Mera Yuva Bharat – MY Bharat Jammu Kashmir under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, is designed to promote national unity and empower the youth of the Kashmir Valley.
Lieutenant Governor Sinha engaged with the participating youth, offering them his best wishes for their upcoming journey. The 6th edition of the program is set to include a total of 2,000 participants divided into different groups, with group leaders from various regions of the Kashmir Valley, who will be visiting 15 major cities across India.
The main objective of this initiative is to educate the youth from Kashmir on the importance of being ambassadors of peace and harmony, by immersing them in the diverse cultural, industrial, and historical landscapes of the nation.
