JK BJP Holds Meeting on Election of National President
The Jammu and Kashmir unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) convened a significant meeting in Jammu on January 17 to discuss the forthcoming voting process for the election of the party’s national president. This meeting, which brought together national council members and state council members, was held at the Trikuta Nagar party headquarters as part of the ongoing organizational elections conducted nationwide under the banner of “Sangathan Parv.”
On Friday, the BJP announced the schedule for the election of the party’s national president, setting the deadline for filing nominations on January 19 and the declaration of the new party chief’s name on the following day.
During the meeting, Sat Sharma, the President of JK BJP, emphasized that the election of the national president is not merely a symbolic gesture but a meticulously planned, transparent, and participatory process that actively involves party workers at all levels, from grassroots to national.
Sharma highlighted the systematic nature of the entire organizational election process, which commenced with the primary membership drive, showcasing the party’s unwavering dedication to discipline, inclusivity, and democratic principles.
