In a thrilling match at the Nawang Dorjay Stobdan (NDS) Stadium in Leh, Anwar Hussain of Purig Warriors made history by setting a new record for the fastest goal in the Royal Enfield Ice Hockey League Season 3. Stanzin Phuntsog’s nine-second goal against Maryul Spawo on Day 3 had previously held the record, but Anwar Hussain surpassed it with a remarkable four-second finish on Day 6.
On the same day, Shakar Chiktan Royals and Zanskar Chadar Tamers secured victories, while Humas Warriors achieved the highest score of the day.

Purig Warriors emerged victorious with a 4-2 win over Kharu Falcons, thanks to Anwar Hussain’s impressive performance. Anwar Hussain, who scored the fastest goal in the league, sealed the result with a late second goal. Sajjad Jr and Captain Sajjad Hussain also contributed to Purig Warriors’ win.
