SANKALP – Hub for Empowerment of Women Concludes Skill Development Programme
In a recent development, SANKALP – Hub for Empowerment of Women (HEW) in Budgam successfully concluded a one-month Skill Development Programme focusing on Women Entrepreneurship and Introduction to Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Cybersecurity. This initiative was conducted under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) initiative and supervised by the District Social Welfare Officer Budgam, Ubaid Ul Khazir.
The primary goal of this program was to empower women by enhancing their entrepreneurial skills and familiarizing them with emerging digital technologies. The training modules encompassed various aspects including business development, financial management, digital marketing strategies, and fundamental concepts of Artificial Intelligence. Additionally, participants were educated on cybersecurity awareness and safe online practices.
During the valedictory function, District Social Welfare Officer Budgam, Ubaid Ul Khazir, emphasized the significance of women’s economic empowerment and digital inclusion in the current rapidly evolving technological landscape. He commended the efforts of SANKALP–HEW Budgam for organizing a forward-thinking and impactful initiative that fosters confidence, innovation, and self-reliance among women.
