Anantnag Hosts PM Vishwakarma Capacity Building Programme for Artisans
The Branch MSME DFO Srinagar, in collaboration with the District Industries Centre Anantnag and the District Administration, organized a comprehensive PM Vishwakarma Capacity Building Programme. The event focused on Business Development, Financial Literacy, and E-Commerce, aiming to empower local artisans in Anantnag.
Over 220 enthusiastic artisans participated in the programme, showcasing a strong interest in enhancing their skills and knowledge. A.K. Tamaria (IEDS), Joint Director & Head of Office, MSME J&K, graced the occasion and shared valuable insights into the PM Vishwakarma Scheme’s performance in Jammu & Kashmir.
Guest of honor, ADC Anantnag, Sundeep Singh Bali, encouraged artisans to make the most of the scheme’s benefits. Aftab Shala, Senior Corporate Official from J&K Bank, virtually joined the event to discuss the credit facilities available under the PM Vishwakarma Scheme.
Furthermore, faculty members from IUST delivered a detailed presentation on leveraging e-commerce platforms to expand market reach and enhance business sustainability for Vishwakarma artisans.
