Salary Budget Delay Leaves Jammu Division School Education Department Employees Without Pay
In a concerning development, employees of the School Education Department (SED) in Jammu division are currently facing a delay in receiving their salaries due to the department’s delay in releasing the Salary budget.
The J&K Teachers Forum (JKTF) has raised alarm over this issue, stating that withholding the monthly salary of employees is unjust and unfair.
Chairman JKTF, Muhammad Shafi Rather, and Chief Patron Ganesh Khajuria have jointly expressed their serious concerns regarding the “unjustified delay” in releasing the Salary Budget for education department employees in Jammu division.
According to a joint statement issued by the two, this delay in salary budget release is unprecedented and has caused significant distress among the employees.
Provincial President JKTF Javaid Ahmad Bhat has also criticized the authorities for this unnecessary delay, emphasizing that employees who work diligently and provide essential services should not have to face such hardships.
Employees have been adversely affected by this delay, with many facing financial difficulties, including high interest charges on bank loans and challenges in accessing essential medications.
The JKTF has called on the government to promptly release the salary budget for education department employees to prevent further hardships and ensure the well-being of the workforce.
