Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) General Secretary (Organisation) J&K Criticizes National Conference-led Government
In Anantnag on February 7, Ashok Koul, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) General Secretary (Organisation) in Jammu and Kashmir, strongly criticized the National Conference-led government, stating that it has failed to meet the expectations of the people in the region. Addressing a public convention at Municipal Park, Ashajpora Bypass, Koul emphasized the BJP’s commitment to development, good governance, and public welfare.
Koul launched a scathing attack on the National Conference-led government, contrasting it with the support provided by the Modi-led Central government. He highlighted that the Modi Government has allocated Rs 1430 crore as disaster relief assistance for Jammu & Kashmir, demonstrating Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dedication to the region’s people.
Regarding the recently presented Union Budget, Koul praised it as a pro-people and development-oriented budget. He criticized the budget presented by the NC government in J&K, calling it hollow and lacking a clear roadmap for development and employment.
During the convention, J&K BJP General Secretary Anwar Khan, District President Anantnag Rakesh Koul, Programme Incharge Abaid Hussain Nengroo, and senior BJP leader Sofi Yousuf also addressed the audience. The meeting continued at the BJP District Office Anantnag, where Koul led an organizational meeting reviewing ongoing party programs and future strategies.
Koul stressed the importance of discipline, unity, and dedication among party workers for public service. He emphasized the BJP’s cadre-based organization structure and urged activists to work diligently at the grassroots level to address public concerns and build trust.
Anwar Khan highlighted the role of BJP workers as ambassadors of the party’s ideology and governance model. He emphasized the party’s commitment to ensuring that central government schemes benefit all eligible individuals without bias.
