Fire Breaks Out in Tachhana, Kishtwar, Damaging Multiple Residential Structures
In a recent incident in Kishtwar, a fire erupted at Tachhana in the Dachhan area, resulting in the destruction of at least five residential buildings and one shop. The information was confirmed by the Incharge Station House Officer of Police Station Dachhan, indicating significant damage to several households.
Among the affected families are those of Liyaqat Ali, Bashir Ahmed, Zunbran Ali, Wasim Akram Mir, Nadeem Akram, Tousif Akram, Firdous Ahmed, Mohammad Yasin, Mohammad Yousuf, Ismail Mir, Abdul Kabir, and the shop owner Imtiaz Ahmed. The blaze drew the attention of police personnel and officials from 17 Rashtriya Rifles, Delta Company, who promptly arrived at the scene to initiate firefighting efforts.
After concerted attempts, the fire was successfully brought under control, averting any loss of life. The cause of the fire remains unknown at this time, as authorities are currently assessing the extent of the damages incurred.
