Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary Conducts Surprise Inspections to Enhance Administrative Functioning
Over the weekend, Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary undertook surprise inspections of government offices in Satwari, Akhnoor, and Sunderbani to assess administrative efficiency and public service delivery.
During his impromptu visit to the SDM Office Akhnoor, the Deputy Chief Minister evaluated the overall operations and stressed the importance of increased efficiency, transparency, and prompt grievance redressal to ensure effective governance and responsive administration.
Additionally, he conducted surprise checks at the PWD (R&B) Division and Sub-Division offices in Akhnoor, focusing on performance standards and departmental functionality. He urged officers to prioritize transparency in project execution and adhere to timely project completion.
At the PWD Guest House in Sunderbani, Deputy Chief Minister Choudhary engaged with various delegations and individuals, discussing a range of issues and development priorities. Senior PWD officials were also present to address public grievances.
Emphasizing seamless service delivery to the public, the Deputy Chief Minister emphasized the importance of adhering to duty schedules and fulfilling official responsibilities promptly. He cautioned against negligence and unauthorized absences, warning of strict action against those failing to fulfill their duties.
Highlighting the government’s commitment to accountable and citizen-centric governance, Choudhary urged officers to work diligently to ensure efficient public service delivery without delays.
Subsequently, the Deputy Chief Minister visited the BDO Office Lamberi, presiding over a meeting and inspecting the construction progress of the 100-bed Mother and Child Healthcare Hospital in the area. He stressed the timely completion of the hospital to enhance healthcare services for mothers and children.
Furthermore, he assessed the under-construction motorable bridge and approach road from Bagnoti to Dabber, urging swift project execution and timely completion.
Engaging with the residents of Bagnoti Lamberi, the Deputy Chief Minister assured them of addressing their concerns with the relevant authorities for prompt resolution.
Various senior officers accompanied Deputy Chief Minister Choudhary during the inspections, demonstrating the government’s commitment to efficient governance and public service delivery.
