Government Middle School Construction Underway in Gangbug, Srinagar
Deputy Commissioner Akshay Labroo of Srinagar recently visited Gangbug to oversee the commencement of construction work on a new building for the Government Middle School (GMS) in the area. The visit was aimed at ensuring the timely and quality completion of the project to meet the educational needs of the local community.
Accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner Mir Imtiyaz Ul Aziz, Chief Planning Officer Fayaz Ahmad Dar, SDM West Irfan Bahadur, and other senior officers, DC Labroo conducted an on-site inspection to assess the progress of the construction work. The focus was on enhancing the educational infrastructure and learning environment for students in Gangbug and its surrounding areas.
During the inspection, DC Labroo emphasized the importance of adhering to quality standards and meeting the approved specifications for the new school building. He directed the officers to monitor the progress closely to ensure the timely completion of the project within the stipulated timeframe.
Local residents of the area also joined the Deputy Commissioner during the visit. They expressed optimism about the new school building providing improved classrooms and better educational facilities. The aim is to create a conducive academic environment that enhances access to quality education for students in Gangbug and nearby areas.
