Exploring the Rich Cultural Tapestry of India: Kashmiri Students on ‘Bharat Darshan’ Visit to Rajasthan
A group of students from Kashmir, participating in the ‘Bharat Darshan’ initiative, had the privilege of meeting Governor Haribhau Bagde at the Raj Bhavan in Jaipur. The delegation, accompanied by officials from the 10th Battalion of the Sashastra Seema Bal, Srinagar, shared their enriching experiences and insights on Indian culture during their visit to Rajasthan.
Governor Bagde emphasized the significance of Kashmir in embodying the essence of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.” He highlighted India’s cultural diversity, which unites the country through its rich heritage, traditions, and natural splendor. The Governor underscored the integral role of Kashmir’s history, culture, and traditions in shaping India’s identity, urging everyone to work towards the collective welfare of the nation.
The students, representing various districts including Srinagar, Pulwama, Baramulla, and Kupwara, expressed their admiration for Indian culture and shared their perspectives on the diverse cultural tapestry of the country.
