Cluster University of Srinagar Excels at the 3rd Chancellor’s Trophy 2025–26
The Cluster University of Srinagar (CUS) has showcased outstanding performance at the 3rd Chancellor’s Trophy 2025–26, securing bronze medals in both men’s football and table tennis events. This remarkable achievement took place at the multi-university sports meet hosted by the University of Jammu.
During the men’s football competition, CUS demonstrated their prowess with a commanding 16–0 victory against Trikuta Group of Colleges, followed by a hard-fought 1–0 win against Kashmir University. In the bronze medal match, CUS emerged victorious in a tense penalty shootout against Govt College of Physical Education, Ganderbal.
Meanwhile, in the men’s table tennis category, CUS achieved significant victories over MIET Jammu, GNDU Amritsar, and MZU Jodhpur. Their triumph continued as they convincingly defeated SMDVU Katra to secure the bronze medal.
These accomplishments underscore CUS’s dedication to promoting sports excellence and fostering holistic student development.
