Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) Declares Class 12 Results
The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) announced the Class 12 examination results, with 29 students from government and private higher secondary schools securing the top three positions across all streams.
Science Stream Results
In the Science stream, government schools dominated with seven out of 13 students securing the top positions.
Commerce Stream Results
Similarly, in the Commerce stream, three out of six students sharing the top positions hailed from government schools.
Arts Stream Results
In the Arts stream, four out of seven students securing the top three positions were from government schools. The first position was achieved by a student from Government Higher Secondary School, Mattan.
Home Science Stream Results
All top three positions in the Home Science stream were secured by students from government schools. Government Higher Secondary School, Kothi Bagh, clinched the first two positions, while the third position was secured by a student from Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Ranibagh, Anantnag.
Girls outperformed boys in the examination, as previously reported.
Pass Percentage and Gender Breakdown
The overall pass percentage stood at 84.02%, with boys achieving 82% and girls surpassing with an 86% success rate.
Examination Statistics
A total of 70,735 students from Kashmir and the winter zones of Jammu appeared in the examination, with 59,435 students successfully qualifying.
