Gulmarg, Baramulla: ABVP Organizes Shan-e-Tiranga Rally on 77th Republic Day
On the momentous occasion of India’s 77th Republic Day, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) in Baramulla orchestrated a remarkable 100-meter Shan-e-Tiranga Rally in Gulmarg, demonstrating unwavering patriotism, unity, and national pride even in the face of extreme weather conditions.
Despite enduring a bone-chilling temperature of -1°C and trudging through nearly 4 feet of snow, students and youth marched proudly with the Tricolour held aloft, reaffirming their unwavering dedication to the nation’s unity, integrity, and sovereignty. The rally served as a poignant symbol of the indomitable national spirit, resilience, and unwavering commitment to the vision of a developed India.
Addressing the gathering, Akeel Ahmad Tantray, NEC Member of ABVP, expressed, “The Tiranga is not just a flag; it epitomizes our identity and determination. By organizing the Shan-e-Tiranga Rally amidst harsh cold and heavy snowfall, we send a resounding message that the flame of nationalism in the Kashmiri youth remains unextinguished and unwavering. On Republic Day, we reiterate our allegiance to the Constitution and the unity and integrity of our beloved India.
ABVP remains steadfast in guiding and mobilizing the youth towards nation-building and fostering responsible citizenship.”
He further underscored ABVP’s commitment to constructive student activism, empowering the youth to play a pivotal role in upholding democratic values and fortifying national unity.
The rally culminated with the rendition of the National Anthem and reverberating chants of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram,” echoing through the snow-laden expanse of Gulmarg, sending a powerful message of patriotism from the spirited youth of Baramulla.
