Jammu & Kashmir BJP General Secretary Focuses on Rural Empowerment and Development
In a recent event, Jammu & Kashmir BJP General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul led a workshop and organizational meeting in Kupwara district, emphasizing the importance of grassroots-level organizational functioning and effective outreach of government initiatives.
Accompanied by BJP General Secretary Anwar Khan, BJP Secretary Mudasir Wani, District President Kupwara Syed Mohd Rafiq Shah, and other senior party leaders, Ashok Koul highlighted the significance of the Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) (VB–GRAM G) Bill. This landmark initiative aims at employment generation, rural empowerment, and inclusive development.
During the event, Koul urged party leaders to educate the public, especially in rural areas, about the benefits of the VB GRAM G Bill. By promoting government schemes that strengthen village economies and create sustainable livelihoods, maximum citizens can take advantage of these opportunities.
Additionally, Koul emphasized the importance of supporting the community during harsh winter conditions, particularly when snowfall disrupts daily life. He called upon BJP workers to provide timely assistance, coordinate with the administration, and offer on-ground support to ensure essential relief reaches those in need without delay.
Highlighting the proactive measures taken by the Narendra Modi-led Government, Koul mentioned the 1430 crore rupees relief and compensation provided to those affected by last year’s heavy flash floods. This demonstrates the government’s commitment to addressing the hardships faced by the people of Jammu & Kashmir and providing financial assistance, rehabilitation, and long-term safeguards against natural calamities.
Speaking at the event, Anwar Khan praised the party’s dedication to grassroots governance and public welfare. He expressed confidence that BJP workers in Kupwara will effectively deliver government schemes and relief measures to every deserving household. Khan emphasized the need to strengthen the party organization and enhance people-centric outreach in the district.
