In a devastating incident this morning, a Casper vehicle belonging to the Indian Army met with a tragic accident at Khannitop on the Bhaderwah-Chamba road in Doda district. The vehicle, carrying a team of soldiers on their way for an operation, plunged into a deep gorge near Khannitop, resulting in the loss of ten soldiers’ lives and injuring another ten.
An official source revealed that the vehicle fell approximately 400 meters from the road, leading to the fatal outcome. The injured soldiers were promptly transported to SDH Bhaderwah and subsequently airlifted to the Army’s command hospital in Udhampur for specialized medical care.
