Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Court Cricket Team Secures Final Spot in All India High Court Employees Federation T-20 Cricket Tournament
Amidst an electrifying atmosphere in Hyderabad, the Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Court Cricket Team has emerged as the dominant force in the inaugural All India High Court Employees Federation T-20 Cricket Tournament, securing a spot in the final with an impeccable record in the league stage.
In a thrilling league encounter, the team showcased their prowess by defeating the Gujarat High Court Cricket Team with a convincing margin of 31 runs. Setting a formidable target of 188 runs for 7 wickets, the Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh team displayed exceptional batting skills. The Gujarat High Court team, in response, could only manage to score 157 runs for 5 wickets in their allotted 20 overs.
With an unbeaten run in all their league matches, the Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Court Cricket Team clinched the top spot in the standings, securing a direct entry into the final of the tournament.
The upcoming semi-final clash on 15 January 2026 promises to be an enthralling spectacle as the Bombay High Court Cricket Team squares off against the Gujarat High Court Cricket Team, who finished in the second and third positions respectively in the group stage.
Organized by the All India High Court Employees Federation in collaboration with the Service Association, High Court of Telangana, this historic event marks the inception of the All India High Court Employees Federation T-20 Cricket Tournament.
The tournament, inaugurated on 12 January 2026 by Justice B. Vijay Sen Reddy, Chairman of the Sports Committee, High Court of Telangana, witnessed the esteemed presence of Justice K. Sharath, Member of the Sports Committee. The grand final, scheduled for 16 January 2026, will feature a showdown between the Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Court Cricket Team and the victor of the semi-final match.
Throughout the tournament, all participating teams have exemplified discipline, unity, sportsmanship, and mutual respect, embodying the sanctity, unity, and integrity of the judiciary. This event serves as a testament to camaraderie, healthy competition, and national integration through sports.
