Jehangir Ahmad Clinches Gold at 69th SGFI National Road Cycling Championship
Recently, Srinagar witnessed a remarkable feat as Jehangir Ahmad, a promising trainee of the Khelo India Cycling Centre under the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council, secured the gold medal in the highly competitive 40 km Mass Start (U-19) category at the prestigious 69th SGFI National Road Cycling Championship.
Highlighting his exceptional performance at the national-level event, the J&K Sports Council emphasized the significant progress and talent development nurtured through the Khelo India programme in collaboration with the Sports Council. Despite facing tough competition from top young cyclists, Jehangir demonstrated exceptional endurance, strategic acumen, and consistent performance to emerge victorious.
