BJP MLAs in Jammu and Kashmir Gear Up for Budget Session
Over the weekend, BJP MLAs in Jammu and Kashmir convened for a crucial meeting to discuss a range of political, organizational, and public issues in anticipation of the upcoming Budget session of the Assembly scheduled to commence on February 2.
Chaired by the BJP’s Jammu Kashmir unit chief, Sat Sharma, the meeting took place at the party headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, where various strategies were deliberated upon.
Emphasizing the significance of the impending assembly session, Sharma urged BJP MLAs to actively engage in questioning the government to ensure that the concerns of the public are effectively addressed and advocated for on the legislative floor.
Commending the Central government’s allocation of a Rs 1430 crore relief package for the Union Territory to aid in the recovery from the previous year’s floods, Sharma lauded the commitment of the Narendra Modi administration in supporting the affected communities.
Senior BJP leader and MLA, Surjit Singh Salathia, affirmed the readiness of party legislators to voice both constituency-specific issues and broader concerns impacting the entire Union Territory during the forthcoming assembly session.
