Bangladesh Cricket Board to Host India for ODI and T20I Series in September
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has officially announced that India will be visiting Bangladesh for a thrilling three-match ODI and T20I series set to take place in September of this year. The series is highly anticipated by cricket fans around the world.
Despite the exciting news, there is some uncertainty surrounding the Indian team’s participation due to the current unstable political situation in Bangladesh. It remains to be seen if the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will agree to the tour under these circumstances.
According to the BCB’s press release, the ODI matches will be held on September 1, 3, and 6, while the T20Is are scheduled for September 9, 12, and 13. The Indian team is expected to arrive in Bangladesh on August 28 to prepare for the series.
Last year, India’s tour of Bangladesh was postponed indefinitely, and the white-ball series was rescheduled for this year. The BCCI and BCB mutually agreed to defer the series to September 2026, citing scheduling conflicts and other international commitments.
Both boards are eagerly looking forward to the rescheduled series in September 2026. The revised dates and fixtures will be announced in due course to ensure a successful and exciting cricketing event.
Cricket enthusiasts can expect a thrilling showdown between Bangladesh and India as they battle it out on the field in a series that promises to be full of excitement and intense competition.
